This beautiful instrument was built by the Swedish Levin luthier company which became famous for making and exporting professional quality guitars and other stringed instruments worldwide!
It is a perfect example of old school craftsmanship featuring some unique characteristics like the birch flat back and sides, spruce top and walnut fingerboard with pearloid dot inlay.
The top of the headstock shows the model number and serial number of 237271, indicating that the mandolin was built in 1950.
This unique instrument can still be played but it would also be the perfect decor piece to any lodge or cabin!
Considering its age the banjolin remains in used, but good condition!
Due to time and use it shows a beautiful worn patina with tiny cracks in the surface of the spruce top! Signs of use like these only add to the instruments character in my eyes!

These ‘bear paw’ snowshoes were handmade by Snocraft Inc. Norway – Maine.
They were issued by the US army during the second world war to the 10th Mountain Division who fought in the Italian alps in 1944!
Their design was inspired by the craftmanship of native americans and feature traditional rawhide latticeworks stretched around wooden frames.
These iconic snowshoes would be the perfect decor pieces for above the fire place, or on the wall of your cabin, lodge or man cave!
After more than 70 years they remain in worn condition and show signs of use and wear. They have been generally cleaned and treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish. All leather parts have been treated with grease.
This moose was found dead or killed in Sweden. The antlers are equipped with a system with metal pins that makes them dismountable, making it easy and compact to ship the skull!
This skull would make an impressive decor piece to hang above your fireplace or in your cabin or lodge!
It remains in good condition and only shows minor signs of wear. Sadly the nostural bones broke off but were glued back on, this is only noticeable if you look closely.

Vintage 60’s KL Dutch army issued M57 para boots, almost identical to WWII US service boots!
These are very sturdy, decent boots which still have many miles to defy!
I personally have been wearing a pair of these for years now!
After years of military service these boots remain in worn condition and show signs of wear.
The leather faded nicely due to years of wearing, giving them a rugged vintage-look!
They got a distressed patina which only adds the boots’ character by giving them a rough touch.
Their soles and heels are a bit worn but will still endure for a while!
The leather has been cleaned and treated with leather grease.

Vintage 1944′ WWII era Swiss army issued cowhide mountaineers rucksack,
also know as the Haaraffe tornister.
These very rucksacks were introduced to the Swiss Army in 1898 and
remained unchanged until 1950 because of their decent design.
The bag features multible compartments inside that can be folded open and a small compartment on front.

the bag got it’s German nickname ‘haaraffe tornister’, which means ape backpack.
The inside of the backpack is lined with canvas.
After 80 years the tornister remains in worn condition and shows some traces of wear as it stood the test of being used for years.
