This antique bag was hand made by P. Koetsen & ZN in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and was pressumably used to carry around tools.
It was made of sturdy saddle leather and is secured with a wooden bottom on the inside.
The bag would make a decorative addition to any rustic style interior!
After almost a century it is in a worn condition but still remains strong! The patina it acquired over the years only adds to its rugged character! It has been cleaned with saddle soap and treated with grease and beeswax.

This rugged messenger bag was originally designed for Swiss soldiers to use as saddle bags on their horses. The bag once was part of a pair, connected by a chain and carried one on each side by a horse.
A matching brown leather shoulder strap was later added.
It’s a true example of Swiss army craftmanship and features a rugged & timeless design!
The quality of the saddle leather and the way it has been sewn together is life lasting!

Antique 30’s German Solidus horn handle pocket knife
Offering multiple functions this vintage pocket knife would be the ideal piece to bring on a hiking or camping trip!

Its handle was made out of horn.

It stills shows its serial number of 413386, which indicated they should be made in the year 1920.
They come with the original leather case and neck strap. The name Blijdenstein was marked into the cover.

After a century both the binoculars and leather case remain in an used condition. The subtle patina it acquired over the years only adds to its charm! Sadly one of the object covers got damaged.
Also the leather strap in front of the cover snapped but was put back together by applying a leather patch on the back.

Vintage 1936′ British War Department leather engineers bag
This vintage bag was issued by the British army and was used for carrying tools.
It features a leather handle on both sides and a inner tin lining.
On top it was marked “W-D” (standing for War Deparment) with a Broad Arrow in the middle.
On the front is was marked “F. ltd – 1936”.
The bag can still be used but would also be the perfect addition to any WWII collection or ideal for any re-enactment!
