    Antique 20’s The Windsor No. 43 5-string banjo with original hard case

    This intrument was made In England in the 1920’s and is a perfect example of old school craftmanship!
    It features some unique characteristics like several types of wood and pearl details that were worked into its neck!

    The original suitcase that comes with it features a small compartment where you could store spare strings or other belongings.
    The suitcase still shows some old customs fragile-stickers from the Royal Dutch Airlines.

    This unique instrument can still be played but would also fit perfectly decorating your lodge or cabin!

    Considering its age the banjo remains in used, but good condition!
    Due to time and use it shows signs of wear.
    The piece has been generally cleaned and treated with antique wax.
    It’s neck features a truss rod and can be tuned.
    Sadly the lowest 6 strings have been removed but can be replaces.
    Except of minimal treatment I decided to leave the banjo in its original condition and leave it up to the next owner to either keep it that way or fully restore it.

    The hard case remains in used condition and shows multible signs of wear.
    The original green inner lining has partially been replaces with yellow foam lining.

  • Vintage 40’s Post WWII Folk Art Lancaster Plane Model

    40’s post WWII folk art Lancaster model

    This handmade model has an unique story! It has actually been made by a RAF pilot veteran who made this piece as a gift for the Dutch family that made him hide inside their home for the Nazi enemies after he crashed done during the war!

    Despite the fact that the piece is very naively made, it seems very realistic and shows the typical characteristics of the Lancaster bomber plane!
    It’s a very special piece that comes with an even more special story and would fit perfectly decorating a man cave, boys room or any RAF/WWII collection!

    After almost 80 years the piece shows signs of wear like the tiny cracks in the paint. The patina it got due to time only adds to it characteristic charm! Sadly some of the tiny propellers broke of or went missing.

    Antique 19th century Dutch oil portret of a young boy smoking a tobacco pipe

    The painting dates back to the 1800’s and features a classical decorated gold plaster frame.
    The boys 19th century clothing combined with the paintings rough painting technique and earthy tones give this painting it’s characteristic charm.
    The painting has been signed by the Dutch artist B. van Dalen.

    It would fit perfectly decorating your gentleman’s room, shop or barber shop!

    After more than a century the painting got a lovely patina that shows minor signs of wear and dust.
    The plaster frame shows some small old damages that have been painted over with gold paint.

    Antique 19th century Victorian childs prosthetic leg

    This small prosthesis has been customized for a child.
    Though called a prosthetic “leg” this actually is a prosthetic foot as it only replaces the wearer’s foot.
    The prosthesis features two bending hinges that replace the joints of the ankle, foot and knee and so still made it possible for the wearer to walk after losing his, or her foot.
    The prosthesis could be fastened by three leather straps on the wearers thigh.

    This is an unique oddity that would fit perfectly in a medical collection or cabinet of curiosities!

    After more than a century the prosthesis remains in a used condition and shows signs of wear and time.
    Except of some minimal restoration I decided to keep the leg in its original condition.
    All leather parts have been cleaned and treated with leather grease.

    Antique 20’s French fencing supplies including mask, glove and foil

    These supplies were made by G. Soudet in the French capital of Paris.
    Fencing used to be a very populair sport in France and was mainly played by young gentemen.
    The way these pieces were put together suggest that they probably belonged to someone wealthy.

    These pieces would fit perfectly decorating your house, shop or man cave, or into a collection of old sports goods!

    After a century the supplies remain in good condition but show some minor signs of wear.
    As the pieces have actually been used for swordplay they show a nice patina.

    This antique piece has probably been military issued and used at sea.
    It consists of 5 extendable tubes and features a tiny cover that can be slide in front of the lens.

    It’s a highly decorative and unique item that would fit perfectly in a nautical collection but could also still come in handy while searching for pirates!

    After more than a century the telescope still remains in good condition but shows some wear due to use and time.

    The cat used to be on top of a victorian house as a roof ornament, possibly to scare of birds or maybe it was meant just for decoration.
    It still is a very decorative piece that, due to years of exposure to the elements, got a nice oxidized patina that only makes it more characteristic!

    It was placed on a wooden stand and would make the perfect decor piece to stand in your window or on a cabinet!

  • Vintage 40’s WWII British Army Riders Boots

    Vintage 40’s British army issued buckle boots

    These rugged boots were worn by military dispatch riders on motorcycles.
    Their decent design is equipped with long laces, iron soles and three buckles on top.

    After 80 years of use they show signs of wear and time and got a nice distressed patina which only adds to the boots’ character by giving them a rough touch.
    Because of the soles being too worn out I think they are no longer wearable but they would still be very suitable for display!

  • Vintage 50’s US Army Black Leather Combat Boots

    Vintage 50’s US army issued service boots, they most likely have been used during the Korean war!

    Due to years of military service the boots are in a distressed condition.
    The leather shows cracks and wear, both soles are worn out.
    Because of their current condition the boots aren’t wearable, but they’re still very decorative and would be perfect for display!
    Their distressed patina only adds to the boots’ character by giving them a rough touch.
    The leather has been cleaned and oiled.
