It is marked at the base with the designation DWG 6101A-12, a model used in conjunction with aircraft powered by the Pratt & Whitney R-1340, R-975, and R-985 radial engine series—notably those equipped with 9 ft 0 in or 9 ft 1 in diameter propellers.

    These propeller blades were installed on a wide variety of training and utility aircraft, including (but not limited to):

    AT-6A, AT-6B, AT-6C, AT-13, AT-15, AT-16, AT-16A, AT-21, BC-1, BC-1A, BT-9B, BT-9C, BT-9D, BT-10, BT-12, BT-13A, BT-15, UC-40A, UC-40B, UC-40D, C-64, and UC-64A
