    175.00

    Vintage 50s French Canadienne coat

This rugged French Canadienne coat was crafted during the 1960s, a timeless design made to withstand harsh winter conditions. Lined with genuine sheepskin, it provides exceptional warmth and comfort, while the durable brown canvas outer shell gives it a sturdy, utilitarian appearance. The coat still retains its original waist belt.

Both practical and highly collectible, this coat is a fine example of mid century French workwear and would make a striking addition to any vintage wardrobe or collection.

After more than 60 years, the coat remains in worn but wearable vintage condition, displaying expected signs of age and use that enhance its authentic character. The canvas and leather have developed a beautiful natural patina over the decades. One of the front buttons has been replaced with a non original example, the button on the right sleeve is missing, and the sheepskin lining has a tear beneath the right armpit. These imperfections are reflected in the photographs and are consistent with the coat’s age and long working life.
Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description and condition report.

  • Vintage 40s 1940s WWII USAAF US Army Air Force ANJ-4 Jacket Flight Bomber Pilot Sheepskin Shearling LEather G-1 Rugged Style Aviation Collection

Vintage 40’s WWII USAAF ANJ-4 Flight Jacket

    350.00

Vintage 40’s USAAF ANJ-4 flight jacket

This heavy duty flight jacket was first introduced in 1943 by the US Air Force and issued to their flight crews during the war. It was the last sheepskin flying jacket they would make, replacing the iconic B3 jacket.
It features a timeless, rugged design with double front pockets, extra patched sleeves and large sheepskin collar and lining to withstand the freezing tempratures of high altitudes!

Although due to its current condition it might not be wearable anymore it would still make an awesome decor piece or collectable for any WWII or USAAF enthousiast!

After 80 years and surviving the harsh conditions of the war this jacket remains in a distressed condition.
The outer sheep leather shows mutiple rips and a distressed patina it acquired due to wear and time.
Except of minimal treatment I decided to leave the jacket in its original condition and leave it up to the next owner to either keep it that way or fully restore it. After some love it might be wearable again!
