Antique early 1900’s sharpening steel
This antique tool was used for sharpening knives and cleavers and was made by the French company of ErnCron.
This steel is equipped with a stag handle.
It would be a cool decor piece to hang in your kitchen or restaurant!
After more than a century the tool remains in used condition. Over the years it aqcuired a nice patina that only adds charm and gives it a rustic character!
Sadly the tip was broken off.

Antique 1913′ oil portait of a moustached gentleman
The painting dates back to the early 1900s and shows a moustached gentleman wearing a suit.
The man’s stately appearance and stern look combined with the dark and earthy tones give this painting it’s characteristic charm.
It would be the perfect piece to decorate your classic style gentleman’s room, shop or barber shop!
After more than a century the painting acquired a lovely patina that shows tiny cracks in the paint surface. Sadly over the years the canvas endured some tiny tears.

Antique early 1900’s British mini hip flask
Little bottles like this one were traditionally brought on hunts so the thirsty hunter could take a quick sip of whisky every now and then.
It was decorated with a protective pewter and leather covering.
This piece would still come in handy on a hunting or hiking trip but would also be the perfect addition to any cabin decor or collection!
After almost a century this flask still remains in good condition and only shows minor signs of wear. The leather cover shows a small rip.

Vintage 50’s leather short model motorcycle jacket
The classic design of the jacket shows multiple characteristic details like the wide collar, belt and D-shaped front pocket. It was made by the Dutch leather craftsmen of Verha in the city of Amsterdam.
The jacket would still be the perfect piece while riding your classic bike but would also be the perfect decor piece to hang up in a garage or workplace!
The jacket is in a good but worn condition. After 70 years it faded nicely, giving great rugged look! Due to use and time the leather got a distressed patina which only adds to the jacket’s character by giving it a rough touch.
The leather has been cleaned and treated with saddle soap and oiled with leather grease.

Antique 19th century Dutch oil painting
This tavern scene was painted on a wooden panel and shows two men smoking their pipes.

Two of the corners of the frame got damaged over the years.

Antique 1910’s WWI trench art ashtray
This unique ashtray was crafted by hand out of a brass artillery shell!
To escape the daily stress of war and boredom in the trenches during the First World War, soldiers would distract themselves through the production of art. Appropriately named “Trench art”, soldiers would express their feelings by hand crafting sculptures and other decorative items by repurposing materials that were available to them; such as bullets, shell casings and ammunition boxes. Limited in both these materials, and tools, soldier had to be very resourceful, which gives the artform its rough and naive character.
This special piece can still be used but would also make the perfect addition to any WWI collection!
After more than a century the ashtray remains in worn condition. Over the years it acquired a beautiful oxidized patina that only adds to its rough charm! It has been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.
