    Antique early 1900’s taxidermy pike

    This monstrous pike was caught in the Netherlands in the early 20th century and measures an impressive 110 cm in length!

    It would make a striking addition to any cabinet of curiosities or taxidermy collection.

    After more than a century, the mount shows signs of wear, but its aged patina only enhances its character. While the fins exhibit some wear and tear, they all remain intact.

  • Vintage 40’s Swiss Army Tornister

    Vintage 1949′ Swiss army issued cowhide mountaineers rucksack,
    also know as the Haaraffe tornister and became a classic in our collection!

    These very rucksacks were introduced to the Swiss Army in 1898 and
    remained unchanged until 1950 because of their decent design.

    The bag features multible compartments inside that can be folded open and a small compartment on front.

    The rucksack has an outside covering made of cowhide, this is from where
    the bag got it’s German nickname ‘haaraffe tornister’, which means ape backpack.
    The inside of the backpack is lined with canvas.

    After 80 years the tornister remains in worn condition and shows some traces of wear as it stood the test of being used for years.
    Some of the hairs have come off of the cow skin outer lining but it doesn’t show any bald spots.
    There is a small hole in the skin cover of the front pocket.

    Vintage 30’s Richard Herder Solingen sailers rope knife

    The knife fearures a folding blade and oak handle with a characteristic anchor worked into it.

    After almost a century the knife is in used condition and shows signs of wear. Over the years blade became a little blunt but will be useable again after some sharpening.
    It is treated with antique wax to give its surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

    This sun hat was made in England in the 1930’s.
    It was designed to cover and protect its wearers head from the the harsh sun on tropical expeditions.

  • Antique 30’s Open Back Banjolin

    Antique 30’s open back banjolin

    This intrument was made in the 1930’s and is a perfect example of old school craftmanship.

    It would be cool piece to display in your rustic style interior or collection!

    After almost a century the banjolin is in used condition. Most of the frets are missing. Also the skin shows a glued rip at the bottom.
    Except of minimal treatment I decided to leave the banjolin in its original condition and leave it up to the next owner to either keep it that way or fully restore it.
