Antique 19th century eastern European dog collar
This unpleasant looking collar was worn by hunting and shepherd dogs to prevent them from being bitten by wolves. The spikes would protect their necks in case they were being attacked.

After almost a century the collar remains in worn condition. It acquired a oxidized patina that only adds charm to it! It is treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

It is a perfect example of old school craftmanship made by Francesco Magnoli in Napoli – Italy, and features some unique characteristics like several types of wood and pearl details that were worked into its neck.
It also features a butterfly shaped pickguard made out of turtle shell and bone and bone tuners!
After some love this unique instrument might still get playable again but it would also fit perfectly as an unique decor piece into your lodge or cabin!
After 120 years the mandolin is in used condition and shows signs of wear.
Over time it acquired a nice patina which only adds more charm to it.
Except of minimal treatment I decided to leave the mandolin in its original condition and leave it up to the next owner to either keep it that way or fully restore it.

Vintage 1956′ Swiss army ‘Salt & Pepper’ mountaineers rucksack
This classic, high quality backpack is perfect for hiking or everyday use!
I personally have been using a similar bag every day for years now!
The outer layer of the bag is made of canvas in olive-green color.
The schoulder- & front straps and bottom are made of very robust, strong saddle leather.
The leather parts have been cleaned and oiled, making the bag more flexible and comfortable to wear!
The leather on the back is marked with origional initials of the first owner and year.
After almost 70 years the bag remains in worn condition and shows signs of use.
The Backpack stood the test of being used for years and will last just as long!
