Vintage 50’s climbing rope

Vintage 50’s French leather flying jacket
Its rugged design features a sheepskin collar and lining and a Eclair zipper.
Even after all these years it’s both stylish and comfortable.

Over the years the leather outer layer acquired a patina which only adds more charm to it.

Vintage 1949′ Swiss army issued cowhide mountaineers rucksack,
also know as the Haaraffe tornister and became a classic in our collection!
These very rucksacks were introduced to the Swiss Army in 1898 and
remained unchanged until 1950 because of their decent design.
The bag features multible compartments inside that can be folded open and a small compartment on front.
The rucksack has an outside covering made of cowhide, this is from where
the bag got it’s German nickname ‘haaraffe tornister’, which means ape backpack.
The inside of the backpack is lined with canvas.
After 80 years the tornister remains in worn condition and shows some traces of wear as it stood the test of being used for years.
Some of the hairs have come off of the cow skin outer lining but it doesn’t show any bald spots.
There is a small hole in the skin cover of the front pocket.

Vintage 1942′ WWII era British army folding chain saw
This folding chain saw comes with its original leather pouch and was used during the second world war.
Two wooden handles can be attached to both ends of the chain making it possible to cut down trees with two people. One end of the chain is marked broad arrow. The backsize of the leather size is marked with ‘B.H.G. – 1942’ and a broad arrow as well!
It would be the perfect addition to any WWII or militaria collection!
After 80 years the saw remains in good condition but shows signs of wear.
Over the years it acquired a nice patina which only adds charm to it.

Vintage polecat taxidermy mount – ‘Mustela putorius’
This beautiful animal was a victim of a roadkill. After it was found dead it has professionally been mounted by a Dutch taxidermist. He did a very good job as the polecat is mounted in very accurate, natural looking proportions and position. It was mounted in a upwards position on wooden base.
This chap derserves a nice home where it will be admired and loved. It would be te perfect addition to the interior of any cabin, lodge or cabinet of curiosities!
The polecat remains in good condition. It’s fur still feels soft and doesn’t show bald spots.

Vintage 1940’s WWII US army snow boots
These vintage boots were issued by the US Army during the second world war and are in size US 11.
They would make the perfect addition to any WWII or US army collection, displayed on a mannequin!
After 80 years the boots remain in good but worn condition. Due to time they acquired a subtle patina.
All leather parts have been treated with leather grease.

Vintage 60’s Scan globe
This vintage globe was made in Denmark in the 1960’s.
It would look great decorating your desk or shelve!
After almost a century the globe acquired a oxidized patina which only adds charm and gives it a rustic character!
Its base has been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

Vintage 60’s British MK VI sheepskin flying jacket
The design of this jacket is inspired by WWII RAF jackets and is made in England.
It’s made out of thick, heavy sheepskin leather, warm enough to stand the freezing tempretures of high altitutes!
After 60 years this jacket still remains in good condition but shows signs of use and time.
It faded nicely due years of wearing, giving it a rough vintage-look! In my opinion the patina it acquired over the years only adds to it’s character by giving it a rough touch.
The leather has been treated and oiled with beeswax lotion.

Vintage 70′s Swiss army leather map bag
This vintage bag was issued by the swiss military and was used to carry around maps.
Made of sturdy saddle leather it was designed to last for years!
I have added a leather swiss army strap.
This stylish small size handbag would be perfect for daily use!
After almost 50 years the bag still remains in good condition but shows minor signs of wear. Over time it acquired a nice patina which only adds more charm to it. It stood the test of being used for years and will last just as long!
The leather is cleaned and treated with leather grease.

Vintage 1969′ Hoffmann wooden airplane propeller blade
This propeller was hand crafted by the German propeller manufacturer of Hoffmann.
It used to be attached to a plane and has made a lot of flying hours.
The original manufacturers label is still attached to one of the blades showing the serial numbers and date.
It would be an unique decor piece to any vintage interior, man cave or aviation colletion!
After 60 years the propeller still remains in good condition but shows signs of wear.
Over the years it acquired a nice patina which only adds more charm to it!

Vintage 50’s Swedish army issued M1909 winter parka
Originally these sheepskin lined coats were issued by the Swedish army to their troops to withstand the freezing winter tempretures of Scandinavia!
These parkas have gained iconic status for their rugged design and quality! They are called ‘Livpäls’ by the Swedes which means ‘a coat for life’ and they seem to live up to that name!
The jacket is made by de Swedish military supplier Mats Larsson.
It’s the ultimate winter coat and would still be the perfect piece to wear during the cold days!
After 70 years the parka still remains in dead stock condition and doesn’t seem to be worn much.
