Antique 19th Century Amputation Saw
Antique late 19th century amputation saw
This victorian saw has probably been used in field hospitals to operate on wounded soldiers during the first world war. It is marked with the initials “H.v.S” which probably are of the manufacturer or the doctor who owned it.
This is an unique oddity that would fit perfectly in a medical collection or cabinet of curiosities!
Due to years of use the saw shows a worn patina but still remains in good condition.
