Antique early 1900’s Black Forest folk art chaimos carving
This tobacco pipe was traditionally hand carved out of a single piece of hard wood in the Black forest area in Germany or Switserland. It’s a fine example of the great craftsmanship the area got famous for and shows beautiful details! The pipe is shaped like the face of a bearded pirate.
It would be the perfect addition to any pipe collection or cabinet of curiosities!
After more than a century the pipe is in used condition and shows signs of wear. Over the years it acquired a nice patina that only adds more charm to it!
The pipe comes without a stem.
