Antique 30’s Mounted Red Deer Antlers
Antique 30’s mounted red deer antlers – “Cervus elaphus”
This animal was shot and mounted in Germany in the 1930’s.
The skull is mounted on a classic wooden plague shield.
This impressive trophy mount would be the perfect decor piece for above the fire place or on the wall of your cabin, lodge or man cave!
After almost a century the trophy shows some signs of wear. Due to the years the wooden shield shows a lovely worn patina like the tiny cracks in the varnish surface that only adds to the trophy’s character!
One of the lower points must have broken off while the animal was still alive, as it appears to have recovered.
Measurements:
width trophy: 68 cm
height trophy: 88 cm
depth trophy: 46 cm
heigth plague: 30 cm
