This unique piece of folk art was traditionally hand carved out of hard wood in the Black forest area in Germany or Switserland. It’s a fine example of the great craftsmanship the area got famous for and shows beautiful details. A brass bowl that is places inside a tree trunk can be used as an ashtray.

After more than a century the ashtray still remains in good condition and only shows minor signs of wear.
