Vintage 30’s French ice axe
This vintage ice axe was produced by the French company of Charlet Moser in Chamonix.
It still shows the original makers stamp in the blade.
This fine piece of equipment would still come in handy while braving mountains but would also be an unique decor piece to display in your interior or collection!
After 70 years the pick remains in worn condition. Due to years of use it acquired a oxidized patina that only adds charm to it rugged character!
The axe has been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.
