Vintage 50’s Bergans hiking rucksack
This high quality backpack was made in Oslo – Norway by Bergans, a company that over the years got famous for their life lasting packs!
It’s made of sturdy canvas and features leather straps and an aluminum frame for comfort.
Its rugged design is ideal for hiking, hunting or mountaineering!
After 70 years the bag remains a worn condition. Over the years it acquired a nice patina that only adds to its rugged charater!
Sadly the previous owner decided to put his name on the leather top piece on the back with a black marker. Later he tried to remove it unsuccessfully..
The bag stood the test of being used for years and will probably last for some years to come!

Vintage 30’s James Dixon hip flask
Bottles like this one were traditionally brought on hunts so the thirsty hunter could take a quick sip of whisky every now and then.
This hip flask was made by James Dixon & Sons in the English city of Sheffield.
It features a silver and leather covering.
This piece would still come in handy on a hunting or hiking trip but would also be the perfect addition to any cabin decor or collection!
After almost a century this flask remains in used condition. Due to years of use it acquired a nice patina that only adds to its character in my opinion!

Antique 1930’s German pocket compass
On the side the compass is equipped with a transit stud for locking the needle.
The compass is in a good, functional condition.
It’s brass case shows a slight oxidized patina and wear due to use & time.
It’s still functional and points north easily!
Cool to take with you on a hike, to display as small decor or to make into an unique necklace!
It measures 30 mm in diameter

Antique 19th century mountaineering crampon
This early glacier cleat was once part of a pair and was used by mountaineers so the spikes would prevent them from slipping as they wore them underneath their shoes.
It was hand forged in the 1800’s in the Alps.
This antique crampon would make unique decor pieces to hang on the wall of your cabin or lodge!
After more than a century the crampon still remains in good condition.
Is has been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

Little bottles like these were traditionally brought on hunts so the thirsty hunter could take a quick sip of whisky every now and then.

It was decorated with a protective pewter and leather covering.

Three pairs of antique late 1800’s French & German binoculars
These binoculars where assumably military issued and were probably used during WWI.
They all still feature their original cases and are adjustable in length making it possible to focus manually.
One of the pairs is marked with “Chevalier – Day & Night Glass, Army & Navy”, the second one is marked “Jumelle – Marine” and the third one is marked “Lausberg & Welpers – Hanover”.
These binoculars would be the perfect decor pieces to any man cave or nautical collection and would also still come in handy while searching for pirates!

Antique late 19th century German D.R.G.M. Fidelio Binoculars Multitool
Equipped with multiple functions the design of this tool is clever & ideal for survival and is much alike the design of the “la Parisienne” tool that was invented in France in the late 1800’s.

This handmade knife is a real piece of German craftmanship.
It’s made of stainless steal, features a stag handle and comes with its original leather sheath.
