Antique 20’s charcoal drawing of a steamer ship
This unique drawing was done by a Dutch artist in the 1920’s and shows a large steamer ship called ‘Europa’.
It still shows a signature in the lower right corner but I’ve not been able to identify it.
It was framed by the Dutch art dealer of Joh. D. Scherft and features a classic wooden frame with glass covering the drawing.
It would be the perfect piece to display in your rustic style interior!
After more than a century the drawing remains in good condition. Over the years both the drawing and wooden frame acquired a nice patina which only adds more charm to them!

Antique early 1900’s bronze bust of Salvator Rosa
This antique bust represents the 17th century Italian painter Salvator Rosa. Because of his stately posture, posing with his hat, sword, palette and brushes, the bust has a very powerful appearance!
It was signed on the side with the name A. Picault, which to me is a little confusing because the original design was made by a famous French sculptor Émile Louis Picault (E. Picault). Whether the sculpture is original, a later reproduction or possibly made by a relative I do not know. In any case, the bust is of high quality and very beautiful!
It would be the perfect piece to display in your collection or classic style interior!
After a century the bust still remains in good condition! The bronze acquired a nice brown patina which only adds more charm to it in my eyes! Some numbers have been scratched in the bottom edge on the back.
