Vintage 30’s British Hip Flask
Little bottles like these were traditionally brought on hunts so the thirsty hunter could take a quick sip of whisky every now and then.
The flask was decorated with a protective tin and leather covering with a croc pattern!
This piece would still come in handy on a hunting or hiking trip but would also be the perfect addition to any cabin decor or collection!
After almost a century this flask remains in used condition and acquired a distressed patina due to time and wear.
The leather covering shows cracks but has been treated with grease.
The tin bottom covering has a crack on one side.

Antique early 1900’s Black Forest nutcracker
This beautiful piece of folk art was traditionally hand carved out of hard wood in the Black Forest area of Germany and Switserland.
It’s a real piece of local craftsmanship and was shaped like a chamois that can break open walnuts by closing its mouth.
This unique piece would be the perfect addition to any collection or cabinet of curiosities!
After more than a century this piece acquired a nice patina that only adds to it’s rough charm!

Vintage 1941′ Swedish army issued M1909 winter parka
Originally these sheepskin lined coats were issued by the Swedish army to their troops to withstand the freezing winter tempretures!
These parka’s have gained iconic status for their rugged design and quality! They are called ‘Livpäls’ by the Swedes which means ‘a coat for life’ and they seem to live up to that name!
The jacket is stamped and marked ‘1941’ with a recognizable Swedish crown above it in the inside of the collar.
It can still be worn and would be the ultimate winter coat!
After 80 years the parka remains in used condition and shows signs of wear and use. Due to time it acquired a nice patina that only adds to its rough character in my eyes!

Vintage 30’s Mark Mischabel & Albert Lutz AG Teufen ice axe
This vintage ice axe was produced by the Andermatten brothers out of Saas Almagel in Switzerland. Their ice axes were named after the local ‘Mischaben’ mountain range that surrounded their home town. This old Swiss family was one of the first and finest to offer guided treks in the alpine regions. They owned a blacksmith business long supplying the Swiss military with their equipment.
This fine piece of equipment would still come on handy while braving mountains but would also be an unique decor piece to add to your interior or collection!
After almost a century the piece still remains in good condition but shows minor signs of use.

Antique early 1900’s huge butcher’s cleaver
This cleaver has been used for butchering and cutting meat.
The naively made design of the knife gives it its characteristic charm!

These early glacier cleats were used by mountaineers so the spikes would prevent them from slipping as they wore them underneath their shoes.
They were hand forged in the 1800’s in the Alps.
