Antique early 1900’s mini oil portrait of a saint bernard
This mini oil painting dates back to the early 20th century and shows a Swiss Saint Bernard dog.
The earthy tones that were used and the dogs expression give this portrait its characteristic charm!
It features a wooden frame that was later added.

Vintage 30’s leather jerkin
Because of it rugged design assumably this jerkin was worn during smithing or other heavy duty work.
It was made of flexible leather with a wool lining and can be fastened by three small belts.
Sadly the neck label got torn and isn’t readable anymore.
This rugged garment can still be worn but would also be a cool decor piece!
After almost a century the jerkin shows signs of wear and time. Due to years of use it acquirred a nice patina that only adds to its character! The thee small leather straps have been replaces over the years and also small leather patch repairs have been done in two places.

This poster was part of a series called ‘Animals in their Natural Habitat’.
It was designed in the 1920’s by several Dutch artist and published by Wolters in Groningen.
It shows the anatomy of species living on river sides.
For almost 80 years the poster has served for education purposes in a Dutch primary school!
