Vintage 50’s′ traditional wooden snowshoes
These ‘bear paw’ snowshoes were handmade in Canada.
Their design was inspired by the craftmanship of native americans and feature traditional rawhide latticeworks stretched around wooden frames.
These iconic snowshoes would be the perfect decor pieces for above the fire place, or on the wall of your cabin, lodge or man cave!
After 70 years they remain in worn condition and show signs of use and wear. They have been generally cleaned and treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

After 70 years the bag still remains in good condition bu shows signs of wear. Over time it acquired a nice patina which only adds charm to it! Sadly one of the side studs is missing.
