Vintage 60’s French Hip Flask
Little bottles like these were traditionally brought on hunts so the thirsty hunter could take a quick sip of whisky every now and then.
The flask was decorated with a protective leather covering that was marked with the word Cognac.
This piece would still come in handy on a hunting or hiking trip but would also be the perfect addition to any cabin decor or collection!
After 60 years the flask still remains in good condition but shows signs of wear and use.

Vintage 1950′ Swiss army issued cowhide mountaineers rucksack,
also know as the Haaraffe tornister and became a classic in our collection!
These very rucksacks were introduced to the Swiss Army in 1898 and
remained unchanged until 1950 because of their decent design.
The bag features multible compartments inside that can be folded open and a small compartment on front.
The rucksack has an outside covering made of cowhide, this is from where
the bag got it’s German nickname ‘haaraffe tornister’, which means ape backpack.
The inside of the backpack is lined with canvas.
After 80 years the tornister remains in worn condition and shows some traces of wear as it stood the test of being used for years.
Some of the hairs have come off of the cow skin outer lining but it doesn’t show any bald spots.
There is a small hole in the skin cover of the front pocket.

Vintage 50’s Dutch army tool roll
This large tool roll was issued by the Dutch army.
Its clever design can be folded open and is equipped with
multible compartments for storing tools and equipment.
With leather straps the bag can be secured while folded up.
It can still come in useful for storing your tools!
After 70 years the roll remains in used but good condition.
Due to years of use it acquired a nice patina that only adds to its rugged character!

Vintage 50’s Stubai mountaineering crampons
These glacier cleats were used by mountaineers so the spikes would prevent them from slipping as they wore them underneath their shoes.
They were hand forged by the Austrian company of Stubai.
This vintage pair would make unique decor pieces to hang on the wall of your cabin or lodge!
After 70 years the crampons still remain in good condition.
They have been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.
