Antique 30’s gladstone grooming bag
This unique portmanteau was made of crocodile skin and features green velvet inner lining and a dismountable rack equipped with multible grooming and dressing tools, bottles and other necessities for the mid century gentleman!
It has been made by true craftsmanship which can be seen in its detailed finish and the fine materials that have been used.
The set includes:
– multiple glass bottles and flasks for grooming purposes
– self care equipment with bone handle tools and scissors
– set with sewing supplies
– small portable mirror
This would be the ultimate gift for every stylish gentlemen or would fit perfectly decorating a barber- or gentlemans shop!
Considering its age this bag remains in used but good condition. After almost a century it shows some minor signs of use and wear like a few tiny stains in the inner lining.
Sadly two pieces of the set are missing.

Vintage 60’s bobcat Skin Rug – “Lynx rufus”
This beautifel animal was shot in Oregon – USA, in the 1960’s. It was professionally mounted in very natural looking proportions in a resting position on a branch.
The piece used to belong to a large collection of taxidermy that I took over from a man who had lived in America for 30 years and wanted to get rid of it all after immigrating back to Europe.
Despite the fact that hunting predators goes against my moral principles I hope to find a nice destination for this beautiful animal where it will be admired and not just be seen as a trophy.
This beautiful taxidermy piece would add just a touch of wilderness to any home, cabin, or ranch house!
After 60 years it still remains in good condition and only shows minor signs of wear. The hair and skin are still soft and flexible.

Vintage 60’s Raccoon Skin Rug – “Procyon lotor”
This beautifel animal was shot and skinned in Oregon – USA, in the 1960’s.
This skin would add just a touch of wilderness to any home, cabin, or ranch house!
After 60 years it still remains in good condition but shows a small tear on the right size of the belly.
Besides that it only shows minor signs of wear. The hair and skin are still soft and flexible.

Vintage 60’s William Barry G-1 flight jacket
The iconic G-1 flight jacket was originally issued by the American Navy and was later standardized by the American Air Forces. It’s design it warm, comfortable and never gets out of style!
Just as the design originally came from, this very jacket was made in the US.
The patch of four aces was later added and only makes the jacket even more stylish!
The jacket is in a used-condition, it faded nicely due to years of wearing giving it
a rugged vintage-look! the leather shows a slightly distressed patina which only adds
to the jacket’s character by giving it a rough touch!

Antique late 1800’s Chevalier – Paris binoculars
These binoculars where military issued and were probably used during WWI by the French navy.
They are adjustable making it possible to focus and feature a compass in between the two oculars.
One ocular is marked with ‘Day & Night Glass’ and the other one is marked with the Chevalier – Paris trade mark
These binoculars would be the perfect decor piece to any man cave or nautical collection and would also still come in handy while searching for pirates!
After more than a century it remains in used condition and shows signs of wear and use.

Vintage 60’s moose hide – “Alces – alces”
This majestic animal was traditionally shot with bow and arrow by a native American in Yellowstone National Park.
This large would look incredible laying in front of a fireplace or hanging on a wall and would surely be the centerpiece of the room! It would add just a touch of wilderness to any home, cabin, or ranch house!
After 60 years the hide remains in worn condition and shows some minor bald spots due to hair loss. Even after all those years the skin still remains flexible and soft!

The high quality case was made by Finnigan’s LTD, “Portmanteau & Dressing Bag Makers” – Manchester & Liverpool.
It has been made by true craftsmanship which can be seen in its detailed finish and the fine materials that have been used.
This set is equipped with multible grooming and dressing tools, bottles and other necessities for the mid century gentleman!
It probably was custom made as all pieces have been marked with the same initials R.P.
The set includes:
– multiple glass bottles and flasks for grooming purposes, all with silver plated covers
– shaving and self care equipment with bone handle tools and brush and a turtle shell comb
– leather bound notebook
– set with sewing supplies
– leather case with white collars in multiple sizes
– and more!
This would be the ultimate gift for every stylish gentlemen or would fit perfectly decorating a barber- or gentlemans shop!
Considering its age this suitcase remains in good condition. After almost a century it shows some minor signs of use and wear.
With the exception of some small nail clippers the set remains complete.

Vintage European badger taxidermy mount – ‘Meles meles’
This beautiful animal was a victim of a roadkill. After it was found dead it recently has been professionally mounted by the famous Dutch taxidermy company of Bouten. They did a very good job as the badger is mounted in very accurate, natural looking proportions and position and with its mouth open showing all its teeth that are still in place. It was decoratively mounted on weathered, moss-clad piece of wood.
This chap derserves a nice home where it will be admired and loved. It would probably fit perfectly into a cabin, lodge or cabinet of curiosities!
The badger remains in good condition. It’s hair still feels soft and doesn’t show bald spots.

Antique early 1900 bust of Karl Marx
This plaster bust was placed on a marble foot, After a century the bronze coating that was applied to the bust got a lovely greenish oxidized patina that only adds to its characteristic charm.
The derocative piece would fit perfectly on the shelve of your man cave, gentlemans- or barber shop!
Even after a century the bust still remains in good condition and only shows some minor signs of age and wear.

Antique 30’s oil portrait of a bearded fisherman
The painting dates back to the 1930’s and shows a fisherman with a large beard carrying rope and a large oar. The idyllic scene combined with the earthy tones give this painting it’s characteristic charm.
The black and gold frame was later added to the painting.
It would fit perfectly decorating your gentleman’s room, shop or barber shop!
After more than a century the painting still remains in good condition but shows some minor signs of age.
