These iron handles were once mounted on actual coffins and got dug up with the excavation of old grave sites. Decorated with skulls and crossbones they have this gothic look which makes them very characteristic!
After being under the ground for more than a century the iron oxidiced and shows a lovely patina that only adds to their crude charm.

These decorative pieces would be perfect to display into your cabinet of curiosities but they would also make unique handles for your cabinet or drawers!

All five handles have been cleaned and treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish. They all still hinge properly.
