Antique early 1900’s chamois shoulder mount – ‘Rupicapra rupicapra’
This beautiful tophy was mounted in the Alps in the beginning of the 20th century.
It was mounted on hand carved & decorated wooden shield plaque.
It would be the perfect decor piece to display above the fire place or on the wall of your cabin, lodge or man cave!
After a century it still remains in good condition but shows signs of wear.
The plaque shield is treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.
