Antique 20’s large leather suitcase
This large suitcase was made by the Dutch firm of Aug. Savelkoul in Batavia – Indonesia, which still was a Dutch colony back than. It has seen a lot of places in its lifetime! It still shows some label of the places it has visited like Bruxelles and Austria.
This antique suitcade would be perfect for storage and can also be used as a side- or coffee table!
After being dragged around the world for a century the suitcase remains in used condition and shows signs of wear due to use and time. Over those years the leather acquired a nice patina that only adds character and charm to it! It is treated with leather grease and antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.

Antique early 1900’s Dutch ice skates
In Dutch these traditional wooden ice skates are called ‘botjes’ and were made in the province of Friesland.

Vintage 30’s Swedish K.J. Eriksson Mora Puukko knife
Puukko’s are traditionally made and used in the Scandinavian culture for all sorts of activities like hunting, fishing or cooking.
This knife features a traditional design with a single curved cutting edge, wooden handle and comes with a leather sheath.
It would still be the ideal piece to bring on a hunting or fishing trip but fould also be the perfect addition to any knife collection!

Antique early 1913′ French oil painting
This beautiful piece shows an idyllic botanic scene showing water plants & flowers, a kingfisher and two insects. It is signed by the French artist saying ‘J.Boissonade – 1913’.
It features an equally beutiful gilded frame.
This piece would be the perfect addition to the interior of your cabin or lodge!
After more than a century the painting remains in worn condition. Over the years it acquired a patina that only adds charm in my opinion. Some patch repairs were done to the back of the canvas, these are not visible from the front. The edges of the gilded frame show some small damages but were painted over again with matching gold paint.
