Antique 30’s warderobe steamer trunk
This trunk was manufactured in the 1930’s by Harwen Trunk MFG in Hong Kong.
The sterdy design of this compact case can be folded open and is equipped with clothing hangers on extendable rails and a bottom compartment on one side and drawers on the other, making it ideal for storing clothing and other belongings while traveling! Trunks like these were brought along by traveling passangers on ships, carriages and trains.
In addition to its functional value, the trunk has a very sturdy and stylish finish with its dark green color, blue and yellow stripes and blue linen inner lining!
It would still come in handy to take with you while traveling but it would also be an unique furniture piece to store your warderobe or use as a night stand!
