This antique buste was traditionally hand carved out of one single piece of wood in the Black forest area in Germany and Switserland. It’s a fine example of the great craftsmanship the area got famous for and shows beautiful details like the man’s long beard and the tobacco pipe he is smoking!

This buste would be the perfect addition to decorate your desk with, or to put on a shelve shelf in your cabin!

After more than a century the wood carving shows minor signs of wear.
In my eyes the patina it acquired due to time only adds to it’s charm!
