Antique early 1900’s British wooden barber shop trade sign

This unique piece used to decorate the ‘Winston Taylor’ barber shop saying “Since 1892 – A Cut of Quality”.
The wooden sign was custom made, painted in red with golden stripes and decorated with actual scissors in the middle as a recognizable symbol.

Antique trading signs like this one are extremely rare, rarely have I come across one as beautiful and characteristic as this sign!
It would be the perfect eye catcher for a barber shop, man cave or your home!

After a century the signboard shows a patina due to time and wear that, in my opinion, makes it even more characteristic!
