Antique early 1900’s Bronze inkwell

This unique inkwell was made in the early 20th century and was designed in the shape of a boars head that can be hinged open and fits a small ink bottle inside.
It also features a classic wooden base.

After more than a century the inkwell shows signs of use and wear.
In my eyes the patina it acquired due to time and use only adds to it’s charm!
It has been treated with antique wax to give the surface a protective layer and a subtle glossy finish.
